Abstract Submission is now officially Open!
Participation in the contest is FREE, but to validate your entry once selected, you must be registered as an onsite participant of MIS Academy Congress 2026.
The topic should focus on Technology, Innovation, and Intelligence in Minimally Invasive Surgery Or aligned with the motto of the congress “Shaping the Future Surgeons: Understanding and tackling the Pelvic Pain” with each participant or group (at least two members) allowed to submit one abstract.
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2026
Selected Abstracts will present live onsite in Porto, Portugal

Contest Overview
Subject: Aligned with the theme of the congress “Understanding and tackling the Pelvic Pain”
Eligibility: Free to join, but participants must be registered for MISAC 2026 to validate their entry.

- Maximum duration of 7 minutes.

- Submit a document file.
Submission Guidelines
Each participant can submit one abstract for each category.
File Formats:
Document: PDF or Word file
Video: MP4, AVI, or MOV
File Size Limit: 1.5GB

Notification: Selected candidates will be contacted 2 weeks before the congress.
Presentation
Selected abstracts will present live in MIS Academy Congress.
Winners will be announced at the end of the congress.

Abstract Details: How to present?
What we are looking for:
• Innovative or explenary surgical technique
• Presentation is aligned with the subject
• Clear Education Value
• Strong visual quality and editing
• Ability to answer questions with percision and insights
Video Abstract:
Selected Video abstracts will be presented by 7 assigned presenters during the designated abstract session. Each presenter will have approximately 8 minutes, with the submitted video abstract being played by our technical team during the presentation, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with the panelists and participants.
Free Communication:

Selected Free Communication abstracts will be presented by 7 to 8 assigned presenters during the designated abstract session. Each presenter will have approximately 7 minutes, consisting of a 5-minute summary presentation followed by a 2-minute Q&A discussion with the panelists and participants.
*Please note that the timings, duration, date, and room for your session will be shared with the selected presenters soon!
The names of the authors can be announced during your presentation.
We kindly ask that you arrive 5 minutes early to test your presentation with our technical team before your turn to ensure everything runs smoothly.
